This is the only work you’ll ever do. Regular phone photos are perfect — most of our customers upload casual shots straight from their camera roll. As long as the face is clear, we can work with it.

What makes a great upload

Ninety seconds of photo-picking saves a revision round. Here’s the cheat sheet.

😍 Great photos

  • Face clearly visible, taken in daylight or good indoor light
  • Subject looking at (or near) the camera
  • Eye-level angle — crouch down for pets!
  • One extra side shot + one full-body shot, if you have them
  • Distinctive details visible: markings, glasses, favorite collar

🙈 Harder to work with

  • Heavy filters, beauty apps, or stickers over the face
  • Strong backlight turning the subject into a silhouette
  • Motion blur (we know — pets never sit still)
  • Extreme angles: straight down at a sleeping cat, fisheye selfies
  • Multiple people/pets overlapping in one crowded frame

The fine print, minus the fine print

Yes — the overwhelming majority of figurines we make start from ordinary phone photos. Clear facial features matter far more than camera quality. If a photo won’t work, we’ll tell you before sculpting starts, not after.
As many as it takes. Most previews are approved within one or two rounds, but there’s no cap and no fee. Each revision round typically comes back within 1–2 business days.
A full-color 3D printed composite with a sandstone-like feel and a protective finish. The color is embedded in the material during printing — not painted afterward — so it won’t chip or fade with normal display and handling.
Plan for about 3 weeks door-to-door: up to 3 days for your preview, your approval time, then 10–14 days for printing and US shipping. Ordering for a specific date? Note it at checkout and we’ll flag your order for priority.
Yes, and we consider it our most important work. Memorial orders go to our most experienced artists and are never rushed. Old prints, faded scans, and low-resolution photos are all okay — send what you have and we’ll take it from there.
Email us a photo of the damage within 7 days of delivery and we’ll reprint and reship it free. Every piece is packed in a padded gift box, so this is rare — but when it happens, it’s on us.
